Career
Jason Schmidt, a talented actor, began his career at the age of nine when he joined the ensemble of The Hobbit The Musical at his local community theatre in Chicago.
He started his television career with the action crime-drama series FBI: Most Wanted as Jake Ferris in 1 episode in 2021. He played the role of Buddy in the comedy musical-romance series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies in 2023.
He is now featured in the world premiere musical adaption of The Outsiders, playing the part of Sodapop Curtis, in addition to Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. Francis Ford Coppola’s feature film The Outsiders is an adaption from the young adult novel by S.E. Hinton.
