Birth & Early Life
Gandharv Dewan was born on 23 March 1991, in New Delhi, India to Architect’s parents. He graduated from the National School of Drama. In Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College, he is also mentioned as a theatre society alumnus.
Career
Gandharv decided to pursue acting as a career while still an undergraduate, where he also acquired a very good foundation in creating and comprehending theatre under the guidance of Keval Arora. He performed as Adil in the acclaimed production of Still and Still Moving, written and directed by Neel Chaudhari, that premiered at the Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai in 2012. He was a member of the highly regarded Tadpole Repertory.
He Dewan began his career with the television comedy series Office vs. Office as Shivam Guptain 2017. The Next year, he got cast in the comedy series Life Sahi as Vicky in 2018. He starred in the 2021 comic web series Thoda Adjust Please.
Gandharv made his debut with the dramedy- adventure film The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir as Cousin 2 in 2018. In 2019, he got featured in the crime thriller- mystery movie The Pickup Artist as Shyam. In the same year, he appeared in the comedy drama-roamnce movie De De Pyaar De as Hasmukh, VK’s assistant in 2019. He played the role of Harry in the 2019 dramedy-romance film The Zoya Factor. In 2021, he essayed the role of Rane in the romantic movie Shiddat. He did a drama movie Gulmohar as Irfan in 2023.
