Birth & Early Life
Gurudatta Divekar was born on 16 March to Narayan and Viraja Divekar in Pune, Maharashtra. He then relocated to Mumbai for pursuing his acting career. He is a Mechanical Engineer and also learned a theatre course from Prashant Damle’s Theatre School. Gurudatta has an elder sister Monalisa Divekar.
Career
Gurudatta Divekar made his acting debut with Star Pravah’s serial Saare Tujhyachsathi. This show depicts the story of arrange marriage of Shruti and Kartik who came from different backgrounds, Shruti is a boxer whereas Kartik is a classical singer.
Later he appeared in TV Serial Shubhmangal Online as Harshad Gawaskar, it is an Indian Marathi television serial which was aired on Colors Marathi, produced by Subodh Bhave.
He was also casted in Tu Saubhagyavati Ho as Rajeev Jadhav. The show expresses the journey of Aishwarya (main lead) into the Jadhav mansion where she develops a bond between her detached husband and her older step kids.
He was also appeared in Swarajya Saudamini Tararani as Shehzada Kambaksh.

Gurudatta was married to actress Madhura Joshi on 19 October 2020.
