Josette Halpert began her career as a dancer and later transitioned to acting. She debuted with the American Girl family-drama tv film Molly: An American Girl on the Homefront as Alison Hargate in 2006. In 2008, she played the role of Older Maureen in the biography-drama film Flash of Genius. She starred in the horror movie Antisocial 2 as Bean in 2015.
She gained attention for her role as Hailey Grimm in the tv comedy drama-family series The Other Kingdom in 2016. She essayed the role of Sydney Allen in the tv family fantasy-mystery series Ghostwriter in 2022.
Her most recent project is the TV show Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies in 2023, where she played the role of Dot. She has also guest-starred on Canadian TV shows such as Rookie Blue in 2015, Saving Hope in 2017, and Beauty and the Beast in 2013.
