Birth & Early Life
Kashyap Parulekar was born on 22 November 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his schooling from King George English School, Dadar, Mumbai. Later, he pursued his graduation from Mumbai University.
Career
Kashyap make his acting debut with Star Pravah’s show Mann Udhaan Varyache.
He then appeared in Marathi film Taptapadi as Madhav in 2014. Taptapadi is an Indian period film inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s short story Drustidaan directed by Sachin Baliram Nagargoj. This movie depicts a love triangle where a couple is fond of each other but soon the wife loses her vision and suffered miscarriage which forced the family to choose another girl for the husband and asked him for remarriage.
Kashyap then appeared in Bugali Majhi Sandli Ga, 2015 Marathi drama starring Mansi Moghe and Mohan Joshi where Shubhangi, an orphan, is brought up by a Tamasha dancer. Indrajeet, a rich boy from an influential family comes across Shubhangi and falls for her.
He became a household name with Ashutosh Gowarikar’s movie Panipat as Raghunath Rao starring Kriti Sanon and Arjun Kapoor in the year 2019.
Kashyap was also a part of TV series Jai Bhawani Jai Shivaji as Netoji Palkar. This was a historical TV show, this will not only highlight Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s life story but also how the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for Swarajya.
