Meg Bellamy was born on October 9, 2002, in Wokingham, Berkshire. She became the head girl at St Crispin’s School in Wokingham, Berkshire. She loved acting and took part in many plays at her school. Additionally, she gained work experience at the LEGO Land theme park near Windsor. To audition for The Crown, she submitted a self-taped audition.
Career
After schooling, Bellamy began her career by first featuring in Alastair G. Cumming’s short film The Prince of Savile Row where she appeared as Janice (as Megan Smith). The short film is about loneliness and was directed and written by Patrick James Verlin in 2021.
In 2023, Bellamy grabbed headlines for featuring in the most popular Netflix television series The Crown. The series story is based on the real-life story of Queen Elizabeth II. In this series, Bellamy plays the role of Catherine Middleton married Prince William, who is now the Prince of Wales.
