Mousumi Saha was appeared as Swarna in the movie Chokher Bali, 2003 Indian Bengali language drama film based on the 1903 novel Chokher Bali by Rabindranath Tagore starring Aishwarya Rai. This movie won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Bengali, National film award for best costume design and National film award for best art direction.
She then appeared in Sindoorkhela as Parama in 2010. The story revolves around Jashodhara and her three daughters and their different opinions. She was also casted in Khokababu as Koushalya Mukherjee. The show revolves around Khoka, an innocent wrestler from Kusumpur, falls in love with Tori, a spoilt brat from Kolkata.
Mousumi was appeared in TV serial Khelaghor as Panchali Roy aired on Star Jalsha. The story involves a rich girl Purna Chatterjee who gets accidentally married to an uneducated vagabond Shantu Gunda, a goon living in a slum in a twist of fate.
She was also appeared in television show Gangaram as Biraj Roy, Gangaram’s mother aired on Star Jalsha. The story involves Gangaram Roy, a charming simpleton guy from a village whose life revolves around music.
