Murali Gopi was born on 4 March 1972 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His father Bharath Gopi is also a good actor and mother Jayalakshmy was Deputy Director of SBI. Gopi had married to Anjana Pilla, but Anjana has died in 2015 after suffering a heart attack. Gopi has two children Gowri and Gowrav. He is completed her Post Graduation in Journalism from Institute of Journalism, Thiruvananthapuram.
Career
In 1995 Gopi started his career as sub-editor and reporter in The New Indian Express. After that He has join the The Hindu as Features Editor, Then He has shifted to UAE and work for Arab-Allied Media, Dubai as chief sub-editor. In 2012 Murali has resign from his job giving more time in Cinema Industry. Murali debuted in Film Industry as actor and singer from Malayalam movie Rasikan. After that Gopi has written script for so many movies like Rasikan, Ee Adutha Kaalathu, Left Right Left, Tiyaan, Kammara Sambhavam, (Malayalam) Lucifer.
