R. Shyam is an Indian actor who is primarily known for working in Tamil television industry. He made his debut with the serial Puthu Kavithai in 2013. Shyam started his career as a supporting actor and now he is grabbing headlines with his acting. Besides TV serials, Shyam is also working in couple of Tamil movies as well.

Career

R. Shyam made his debut with Tamil daily soap opera Puthu Kavithai in the year 2013. The serial depicts a story of a woman (Maheswari) who will go to any lengths to fight for her right.

Shyam rose to prominence with his acting in Tamil television serial Eeramana Rojave as Pugazhandi. Malarvizhi falls in love with Maran and they decide to marry. On the day of their wedding, Maran dies in an accident and his younger brother Vetri is forced to marry Malarvizhi. The story then revolves around Vetri and Malar’s marriage life.

He was then casted in several other television serials like Aranmanai Kili as Selvam, Saravanan Meenatchi as Gautham, Nenjam Marappathillai as Santhosh and Pagal Nilavu as Rathnam.

He is currently working in romantic drama serial Valli Thirumanam as Karthik opposite Nachathira. The story follows the life of a mischievous girl Valli (Nachathira) who is a bold and arrogant money lender. Karthik a soft, Kind-hearted man searches for a bride who has the same quality as he does. 

Personal Life

Shyam married to his long time girlfriend Sandhiya Nambiar. The couple were in a relationship for over 11 years before they took the leap of faith. They both often give major couple goals with their pictures and fun videos.
