Rotobrota Dey commenced her career with the Bengali romantic-drama television serial Ekhane Aakash Neel as Jhinuk, aired on Star Jalsha in the year 2019. It was the remake of the Star Plus’ serial Sanjivani. The next year, she got featured in the drama serial Kanyadaan as Bithi, aired on Sun Bangla in 2020.

In 2023, she portrayed the character of Sheetala Sikdar in the TV series Nayika No.1 broadcasted on Colors Bangla.
