Shubha Saxena was born on 1 July in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her graduation from Sarojini Naidu Girls College. In the year 2007, she went to Mumbai for pursuing her dreams.
Career
From a non-filmy background to a successful actress, Shubha’s journey was quite tough and challenging. But she struggled hard and finally paved her way to television industry. She got popularity with her role in Diya Aur Baati Hum, an Indian television soap opera that aired on Star Plus. Diya Aur Baati Hum focused on breaking the stereotypical image of women in rural India by showing the inspirational journey of Sandhya Rathi, whose ambition is to become an IPS officer.
She was also appeared in television serial Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2 as Anjali Tiwari. The story revolves around Shravan Malhotra, a spoilt and undisciplined civilian teenager, sent to an army school where he meets Suman Tiwari, a fully disciplined and ambitious girl from an army family and then they both feel in love.
She was immensely appreciated for portraying the role of Kavita Pathak in Mithai along with Debattama Saha, Aashish Bhardwaj, Kervi Udani and Nisha Jha. The show is a remake of Bengali television serial with the same name where Mithai is a girl full of life, while Siddhartha is serious, intelligent, and self-centered.
