Biography

CORii, whose real name is Courtney Halpin MacBride, is a graduate of Belmont Music from Moorestown, New Jersey. She’s already released six singles under the name CORii and has appeared on NBC shows twice. She was featured on an episode of Songland in April 2020, where she pitched a song called “What If” to Louis Fonsi. Although the song received positive feedback, it wasn’t chosen by Fonsi because it needed significant changes to fit his music style.

After graduating from Berklee with a degree in music therapy, CORii worked at a dueling piano bar called Howl at the Moon for two and a half years.
