Michael Huntley is a singer-songwriter based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Originally from Florida, he relocated to Virginia during high school. Huntley is a graduate of Full Sail University in Florida and spent some time pursuing his music career in Nashville.

He has experience with singing competitions, having auditioned for American Idol three times and earning a gold ticket on at least one of those occasions. In a 2022 interview, he mentioned that Ruben Studdard, the Season 2 champion of American Idol, encouraged him to audition for the show.
