Mac Royals, originally known as Malcolm Allen, hails from Wrightsville, Arkansas, where he began his musical journey in church and started playing the violin in the first grade. In 2014, he decided to pursue his dreams by auditioning for Season 13 of American Idol, where he wowed the judges with his rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition” during his audition.
