Shadow Ace was born in Calatagan, Batangas. He began his academic journey at Westmead International School, where he marked a significant milestone during the institution’s 17th founding anniversary. His pursuit of education continued at Lucsuhin National High School before delving deeper into his passion for Arts, Media and communication, a path he pursued at Westmead International School.

Career

Shadow Ace dream is to one day meet his idol, Beyoncé. He first gained recognition under his real name when he appeared on season 5 of Pilipinas Got Talent, where he was eliminated in the semifinals. He later competed on season 3 of Asia’s Got Talent as Shadow Ace, where he received a Golden Buzzer from the hosts Alan Wong and Justin Bratton during his audition.

In his audition in Episode 1801, Shadow Ace did a shadow puppet show to the songs “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus, “Pony” by Ginuwine, and “Gangnam Style” by PSY. All 4 judges said “Yes” so he moved to the next round.

In the Semifinals in Episode 1816, Shadow Ace did another shadow puppet show to a mix of “Macarena” by Los del Rey, “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor, and “U Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer. Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell stood up and clapped. He got enough votes to be in the top 5 acts that night instead of Orlando Leyba. He was then in the top 3 with Chibi Unity and Anna DeGuzman instead of D’Corey Johnson and Zion Clark. He came in 3rd place which meant he did not move to the Finals.

Shadow Ace was picked as one of the top 40 acts for the Fantasy League Draft Pool. He was drafted onto Howie Mandel’s team. In the Fantasy League Preliminary in Episode FL01, he did a shadow puppet show using the top of Howie’s head to the songs “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot, “Hot In Here” by Nelly, and “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton. Simon Cowell, Mel B and Heidi Klum stood up and clapped.
