Birth & Early Life

Pratik Utekar was born on 23 August to Mr. Ramesh and Mrs. Deepika Utekar in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has an elder sister, Darshana Utekar.

Career

Pratik is indeed a god gifted dancer but his hard work and perseverance bring him into dance industry. Initially, he took professional training to improve his dancing skills then he worked as a dancer for several years and now he is serving as a choreographer in the industry.

Pratik is well known for composing dance moves for the winning contestants Amruta and Himanshu in Nach Baliye season 7, a celebrity dance reality television series that aired on Star Plus.

He also choreographed Aditya Patil in Dance Deewane Juniors who was ultimately declared as the winner of the show. The show was hosted by Karan Kundra and judged by Neetu Singh, Nora Fatehi and Marzi Pestonji.

He was also appeared in Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan with Akash Singh. The show follows the format in which contestants audition in front of three judges, Mithun Chakraborty, Parineeti Chopra and Karan Johar.

Pratik is well appreciated for composing dance steps for Arundhati Granaik and Kishen Bilagali in Dance Deewane season 3, hosted by couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa and judged by Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia and Dharmesh Yelande. Pratik was known for raising social issues with his choreography in the show.

Pratik has even composed and arranged dance steps for Shweta Warrier in India’s Best Dancer. They both received standing ovation for their performance on Ang Laga De Re.

Pratik is now all geared up to choreograph Amruta Khanvilkar in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, hosted by Manish Paul and judged by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi.
