Birth & Early Life
Tarun Raj Nihalani was born to Mr. Rajesh and Mrs. Kiran Nihalani in Nashik, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling from St. Patrick Convent School. He then pursued Bachelors in Computer Application from Bytco College, Nashik. No one in Tarun’s family has any connection with dance, his whole family is into business but he became the first one to opt dance as his career.
Career
Tarun is indeed a god gifted dancer but his hard work and perseverance bring him into dance industry. He got his first exposure with dance reality show, So You Think You Can Dance: Ab India Ki Baari and even in his first show, he was in top 10 contestants. He then made his entry in season 3 of Dance Plus and secured his position as one of the finalists with his dance cum life partner Shivani Patel. He represented Team Dharmesh in the show which was judged by Remo D’Souza and hosted by Raghav Juyal.
Tarun was then appeared in Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan with Akash Singh. The show follows the format in which contestants audition in front of three judges, Mithun Chakraborty, Parineeti Chopra and Karan Johar.
He was also appeared in season 3 of Dance Deewane, hosted by couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa and judged by Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia and Dharmesh.
Tarun has also choreographed Nia Sharma in Jhalak Dikhhala Jaa 10, hosted by Manish Paul and judged by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi.
Personal Life
Tarun got married to his dance partner Shivani Patel on 8 December 2019. The couple fell in love on the sets of Dance Plus season 3 and decided to spend the rest of their life together. Though they didn’t won the show but was able to win the hearts of audience by their sizzling performances. Finally, the dance partners tied the knot in Ahmedabad and became partners for life.
