Career
Born in Pune, Neha graduated in computer science from Savitribai Phule University in 2006 and went to the Georgia Institute of Technology the same year for her post graduation studies. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has worked at Oracle for two years, followed by a software engineer’s post at LinkedIn.
In 2014, she launched Confluent with two of her colleagues, to bring this software to more companies, which has a market cap of $7 billion. Neha served as the chief technology and product officer until 2020. She is currently a board member.
Besides co-founding Confluent, the youngest self-made woman entrepreneur, Neha, is also the co-creator of Apache Kafka, an open-source messaging system along with Gwen Shapira and Todd Palino.
