Birth & Early Life
During school days, Sonal was a judo player and got opportunity for play at national level. She won a silver medal. After completing school, Sonal pursued her graduation degree from her city university.
Career
Sonal started her career in modeling. In 2016, she appeared in Femina Style Diva modeling competitions as contestant and there she secured her place in top 8. After a year, Sonal participated in Miss Queen of India 2017.
After a brief modeling career, Sonal got opportunity for make debut in film industry with J.S. Randhawa’s romantic comedy drama film Muskurahatein where she played the role of Kanu in the year of 2017. Later, she also appeared in J.S. Randhawa’s one more film 10 Nahi 40 as Sonal in 2022.
In 2019, Sonal stepped into media and started working in News Nation TV channel as news anchor. She anchored sports and entertainment related shows on the channel. Sonal also hosted a popular show Filmy Fanda which aired at 3:30 to 4:30.
Sonal left News Nation in 2021 and then joined India TV where she gives news related to sports. She worked around 8 to 9 months in this channel.
In February 2022, Sonal joined popular TV channel ABP news as a news anchor. She hosted popular show Namaste Bharat alongwith Jiya Sharma and Aparna Moazzam.
