Early Life
Ashutosh is originally from Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. He graduated from ECC College, Allahabad. He did Master of Journalism course from Makhanlal Chaturvedi University, Noida. Ashutosh loves singing, has won the title of the best singer of the college ‘ECC Idol’. In 2006, he was among the top 60 participants of the singing reality show Indian Idol aired on Sony TV.
Career
Initially, Ashutosh worked with many local channels. He started his career with print media and also associated with Hindi news paper Amar Ujala. At the same time, editor Uday Sinha inspired him for TV journalism. He later joined the sports channel Zee Sports for some time. In 2009, he served for Azad News and in 2013 for Khabar Bharati.
Ashutosh became part of Zee Sangam and also done news anchoring for Zee Hindustan channel. He contributed news related to Indian army, politics, terrorist attacks and crime. In 2019, Ashutosh left Zee Hindustan and started working for Republic Bharat news channel. He also reported on the ground on the time of Cyclone Vayu.
After working some TV channels, Ashutosh joined Aaj Tak TV channel as an editor and news associate in June 2021.
