Birth & Early Life
Priyanka is originally from Dehradun, but she pursued her studies in Delhi. She even took training in music to sharpen her talent under her mentor, Aniruddha Pandey. Priyanka has two younger siblings, brother Ankit Negi and sister, Renuka Negi.
Career
Priyanka Negi got her first exposure when she participated in Indian Idol 4 and secured her position as one of the finalists of the show. Incidentally, this was Priyanka’s second attempt at Indian Idol, in 3rd season she made it till the theatre round but never got a chance to appear in the show.
She has also worked as a singer in the 2018 movie Khamiyaza for the song Tu Zindagi Ka Chehra, story of a common man Abhimanyu who dares to save a life of a social worker Satya Prakash without knowing that Satya Prakash is on Mantri’s target.
Priyanka sang a song Tum Bepanah in the movie 72 Hours: Martyr Who Never Died, Indian biographical drama film directed by Avinash Dhyani in the year 2019.
Her Punjabi song Kala Joda featuring rapper Hotline, went viral and various celebrities including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and comedian Sunil Grover appreciated it on Instagram.
She has also given voice for the song Desi Cinderella written by Eimee Bajwa.
