Career
Sanchita started her career while giving her audition in Zee TV singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs 2006, hosted by Shantanu Mukherjee and judged by Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Alka Yagnik and Bappi Aparesh Lahiri. After that, she started her career as a playback singer with her debut song Haathi Ka Bal Hai from the computer animated musical feature film Bal Ganesh in the year of 2007.
Sanchita got popularity for singing the title song Yamla Pagla Deewana of the movie alongwith Sukhwinder Singh, Shankar Mahadevan and Rahul B. Seth. Later on, Sanchita made her debut in Tollywood (Bengali) with the title song of the movie Purulia Express with the co-singer Raaz Chakraborty.
