Sonam Yadav was born on 18 July 2007 in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. His father, Mukesh Kumar is a laborer working in a glass factory. Sonam started playing cricket at the age of 13 where she used to play with elder boys. After seeing her talent, his elder brother Aman Yadav helps her in joining a nearby cricket coaching.


Career
Sonam Yadav first played for Uttar Pradesh at state level and then she got selected for New Zealand series where she took six wickets in four matches. Later in December 2022, Sonam got selected in the upcoming 2023 Under 19 Women World Cup.
