Anupamaa is an Indian television drama series produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi starring- Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey in lead roles. It is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee.
This story revolves around a woman, Anupama Shah, a Gujarati home maker who gave up her dreams and desires for her family but even then, she still does not get any respect in the family. She manages her household consisting of her two in-laws, husband and three grown kids. It also shows her journey from a mere house wife with an incomplete degree to becoming a strong, bold and independent woman.
It premiered on July 13, 2020 on Star Plus.
