Rang Maza Vegla is an Indian Marathi language show directed by Chandrakant Gaikwad. The show is loosely based on Malayalam series Karuthamuthu. It was released on 30th October 2019. It airs from Monday to Friday at 8:00 pm on Star Pravah and Star Pravah HD. The show is well received by Marathi audience and since its release show always maintains Top 5 rating in BARC’s weekly Marathi show list.
The story revolves around, Deepa, who was always discriminated by society due to her dark complexion. Her mother passed away saving Kartik, who later becomes Deepa’s love interest. Her father married Radha, together they had a daughter, Shweta, who hates her step-sister as she had a fair complex unlike Deepa.
Kartik’s mother Soundarya, is the owner of ‘Satej Kanti’ business for her too looks are more important than anything but Kartik is exactly opposite as Kartik craves intelligence and kindness more than beauty. He eventually falls in love with Deepa, seeing that she is a kind-hearted and generous person.
