Birth & Early Life
Highdee Kuan was born on May 3, 1998, in San Francisco, California. She spent her childhood in a rural village in the Netherlands, where she found her love for the performing arts through studying classical ballet at the prestigious Dutch Royal Conservatory. After that, she returned to California and enrolled at UC San Diego, majoring in theatre and visual arts. During her university studies, she actively pursued acting opportunities.
Career
Highdee’s acting career began in 2016 when she made her debut in the short film Run For The Truth. The following year, she landed her first major television role as Robin on the CBS series The Young and the Restless.
Highdee’s career continued with parts in various independent films and TV shows over the next few years, including a recurring role as Mallory Yang on Quantum Leap in 2023. She also starred as Kaya in the 2022 podcast series Birds of Empire.
Some of her other credits during this period include roles in the feature film Proximity (2020), an episode of This Is Us (2020), an episode of You (2019), the short film Just Another Day (2019), and an episode of Vida (2018).
